This is a famous knife the Gurkha used in the jungle. The name of this knife is derived from “siru” which is a kind of leaf found in hilly region of Nepal. Its blade is not wide as other knives rather it’s long, thin and pointed, which is very much similar to the shape of siru. The Khukuri is made with hand-hammering process in a very traditional way using top quality material. It is very useful for light work. Gurkhas use this in their jungle training. This blade can be used to cut wood and to clean bushes. This is handmade in Nepal by well-experienced (Bishwokarmas) using high graded carbon steel, along with rosewood handle and sheath is made from the best quality leather.
