26 Inch Khopesh Sword - Hand Forged Full Tang Customized Sword

My husband says I won Christmas this year. He's a knife maker, so finding him a blade that impresses him is difficult. The Egyptian Khopesh was unexpected and blew his mind with the heft and quality.

This item definitely lived up to the expectations that were given by the photos and the product description. It arrived in great condition with plenty of oil on the blade to keep it safe from rust. The sheath also fits very well and holds the knife inside without being too loose. I would love to purchase additional pieces from this shop in the future!

Beautiful sword, very well-made. Looks exactly like the picture on the website. The sword came wrapped up and oiled to keep from rust and any damage from shipping. No need to sharpen when you get any ⚔ you get from GurkhabladeByKnife shop. This makes the third I have purchased from him, and will buy more in the future, the craftsmanship is great!!

It arrive pretty quickly considering it was sent from Nepal.
Keeping in mind that knives from that part of the world tend to be rugged tools as apposed to refined cutlery, this one is pretty good. Both knives feel solid, the fit and finish of the handles are smooth and without gaps, and the edges are good for a rugged use field knife . There were a number of sharp edges where there should not be, such as the spine of the blades, the inside and outside of the large loop that forms the butt end of the large knife, and a bit on the bolster of the large knife. A little TLC with a grey wheel fixed all that right up. The small knife has some nice teeth on the butt end that are great for making sparks on a ferro rod. I think, even on sale, it was a little expensive, but overall I am happy with my purchase.
